Makeup For Mature Skin
Bridal make-up for mature skin is something you might not come across very often. In an industry seemingly obsessed with youth, it can sometimes feel daunting trying to find a make-up artist who is not only capable but also passionate about providing make-up for mature skin.
Brides over the age of 40 require different techniques for make-up application as our skin changes - that is simply a fact and with good fortune, it is something that we will all experience. As a make-up artist who has worked in the industry for over 30 years, I have had the privilege to hone my skills and perfected the art of applying make-up to mature skin. I have also never hidden my age and am very proud to have reached 60 years young - also making me somewhat qualified to work on brides with mature skin!
Too many bridal make-up artists will only use images of brides who fit a certain aesthetic. They then apply fancy lighting and filters leaving us with a vastly altered perception of reality which is unrealistic and confusing. I am only interested in offering my brides a naturally flawless finish, using nothing but my trusty kit and the skills I have developed over the last three decades - nothing filtered, nothing fake.
Am I the right make-up artist for you?
I live and work in leafy Surrey but have travelled far and wide to provide bridal make-up for my clients. Before your special day arrives, we will book in a bridal trial, allowing us the opportunity to craft your perfect bridal make-up look. On the day, I will either work alone or with a trained assistant depending on your specific requirements and size of your bridal party.
I also have the good fortune to be trained in bridal corsetry and am pretty handy with a needle and thread - just in case of last minute hiccups! I take my role in your wedding very seriously and consider myself as having a professional yet fun-loving approach. I will only depart your venue when you have left for the aisle, ensuring I am around for last minute touch ups if required.
